The Core Game Loop
Steal a Brainrot is a tycoon-extraction game where your goal is to accumulate as much passive income as possible. The fundamental cycle is: buy Brainrots → deploy them in your base → earn Money Per Second (MPS) → upgrade → steal from others → rebirth to multiply everything.
This is your lifeblood. Every Brainrot generates a specific amount of cash per second. Your total MPS is the sum of all deployed Brainrots' yields, multiplied by your Rebirth Multiplier and any active Trait modifiers.
Getting Your First Brainrots
When you first join, head to the central red carpet conveyor belt in the middle of the map. Brainrots will spawn here continuously. Walk up to one and click it to pick it up. You can purchase Brainrots directly with cash, or wait for free spawns.
Conveyor Belt Spawn Schedule
- Common & Rare: Continuous random spawns (RNG-based)
- Epic: Frequent spawns, ~$10K–$47K cost range
- Legendary: Guaranteed every 5 minutes — position yourself near the conveyor!
- Mythic: Guaranteed every 15 minutes — set a timer
- Secret: Only from Lucky Blocks or high-tier Gacha mechanics
Deploying Brainrots in Your Base
Once you own a Brainrot, open your base menu and deploy it into an open slot. Deployed Brainrots immediately begin generating MPS. The more slots you unlock (via Rebirths) and the higher the rarity of Brainrots you deploy, the faster your income grows.
Fill every base slot you have with the highest-MPS Brainrots you can afford. Even Common Brainrots are better than empty slots. Replace them as you earn more.
Theft & PvP Mechanics
One of the core exciting mechanics is stealing Brainrots from other players' bases. Walk into an enemy base, find a Brainrot, and initiate the steal. You will be slowed down significantly while carrying a stolen Brainrot, and a guard will chase you. If they slap you, you drop the Brainrot and respawn.

Speed Upgrades — Mr. Speed Shop
Speed is the most important stat in Steal a Brainrot. Higher speed lets you outrun guards, escape thieves, and raid bases that would otherwise be inaccessible. Visit Mr. Speed Shop to purchase speed upgrades with your earned cash.
A fast player can both successfully steal AND defend their base. Always prioritize speed upgrades over MPS upgrades when your current speed cannot outpace the zone you're trying to farm.
The Rebirth System
Rebirthing is the most important progression mechanic. When you rebirth:
- Your all cash is wiped
- Your all deployed Brainrots are deleted
- You receive a permanent income multiplier
- You unlock new base slots
- You unlock new defensive weapons and tools
- Your base gains an additional floor (Rebirth 2 and Rebirth 10)
The multipliers are permanent and stack. Rebirth 18 provides an 18x multiplier on top of everything else — making late-game income mathematically astronomical.
When Should You Rebirth?
Use our Rebirth Calculator (EPRO) to determine the optimal rebirth timing. As a rough rule of thumb:
- Rebirth 1: At $500K — unlocks critical tools
- Rebirth 2: At $1.5M — unlocks Floor 2
- Rebirth 3: At $12.5M — Diamond Slap is a major upgrade
- Rebirth 10: At $125B — unlocks Floor 3, a massive defensive advantage
If an enemy is actively stealing your best Brainrot, you CAN rebirth instantly if you meet the cash requirement. This wipes your base and deletes the Brainrot they were stealing. Weaponize rebirth as a last-resort defense.
Trait System Overview
When Brainrots spawn on the conveyor belt, they can appear with random Trait modifiers that multiply their base MPS. The rarest traits like Strawberry (8x) and Paint (6x) can turn an average Brainrot into a game-changing asset.

Free Roll Mechanic
After achieving Rebirth 3, you permanently unlock free Brainrot rolls at set intervals. This creates a dual-pipeline system: active stealing from the field paired with passive free rolls from your base. This is the most reliable method for obtaining God and Secret-tier units.
Auto-Collect
In the early game, you physically collect cash drops by walking over them. As soon as you can afford Auto-Collect, buy it immediately. It automates cash collection, freeing you to raid enemy bases while your base continues generating income without you physically present.
Roblox Premium Bonus
If you have Roblox Premium, you receive a permanent +10% bonus to all cash generation. This compounds with your rebirth multipliers, making Premium subscribers mathematically superior in the long run.
